What If The Devil Created A Religion

Suppose the devil were to create a religion what would it look like and what characteristics would it have based on what a devil is supposedly like.First of all it would represent itself as opposed to the devil because no one will follow the devil and the devil will of course lie.Secondly it will brook no opposition either externally or internally and of course anyone who dares to leave the fold even though they weren't asked if they wanted to join it will be killed.Dedication must be absolute with every aspect of ones life governed by "laws" and continual prayers to him.There will be much chopping off of heads and body parts for the most trivial of crimes and general mutilation of the population including children.Of course genitalia of both sexes must be cut in his name.Naturally this must extend to the animal kingdom where every so often large numbers of animals must be made to die for no reason.There will of course be no progress and societies which fall under his spell will create nothing and produce almost nothing.People of necessity will try to leave those societies but no one from the outside will ever try to move there.Lastly of course the neighbors of these societies will be under constant attack.That is what a religion conceived by the devil would behave like.
