The Constancy Of The Laws Of Nature Destroys One Of The Pillars Of Religion

One of the axioms of science and indeed all rational thought is that the laws of nature are constant. One conclusion from this is that the world is pretty much constant from one epoch to the next with any changes based on purely physical causes. The waves splashing up on the beach are the same as when dinosaurs walked the earth and the sky and the clouds are the same too. What we see is what the dinosaurs saw and what beings will see hundreds of millions of years hence.Of course when the sun burns out everything will change but that is predictible within the laws of nature. What isn't predicted is that all the laws of nature will change with the second coming of whoever you think will be resurrected.Likewise with the future which will be the same as today today is the same as yesterday.Since we see no angels today and we should if they exist then there were no angels yesterday since time for them does not exist.Constancy in the laws of physics combined with the timelessness of angels means they did not exist nor will they ever since if they ever existed they must exist now but do not.Using a little logic we have upended an inconsistent belief and therefore destroyed one of the foundations of religion.
